Balthazar is a phenominal new addition to Serenity Ridge's herdsire
row. He is of exceptionally limited Peruvian lineage. His sire, CPeruvian
Black Traditions has sired only 32 offspring to date and of those 32,
only SIX are male!! I am so excited to have one of those few males standing
stud here at my farm!
Balthazar is compact and
solidly built. He has flawless conformation, a straight topline and
extremely complete coverage. His fleece is fine with a wonderful hand
and high luster. His jaw is strong and well set with a full helmet topknot.
Balthazar's dam is a 5 Peruvian
import and unrelated to virtually all other Peruvians in this country!!
Balthazar's sire, Black
Traditions, is a dual registered herdsire from Canada. His dam remains
in Canada which makes him unrelated to almost every other Peruvian herdsire
in the US! Black Traditions is the foundation sire for the breeding
program of excellence for his owners and Balthazar is poised and ready
to become the foundation male for Serenity Ridge's black breeding program.
Due to the limited availabilty
of Balthazar's bloodline, my partner and I have decided not to offer
him for outside breedings. We will offer a few select females bred to
him for sale and, in the future, a few select offspring.
